The Institute for Non-Profits (INP) was based in 1995 by a positive identification of occupational group organizations in Rockland County, New York. As thither are more than than 1,100 non-profit organizations in the county, it seemed expedient and necessary to ameliorate communication and collaboration within the non-profit community. More than 180 organizations now actively participate in the Institute’s programs.
